Saniflex History
Maresca S.r.l., founded in 1927 by the Bellini family, began as a small producer of handmade wooden clogs and velvet mules. Over the past 70+ years, it has grown into a leading manufacturer of PVC and sanitary footwear.
In 1945, the company launched the FB brand, offering PVC sandals and hand-sewn shoes, and by 1955, it had begun exporting internationally.
The CAMPER brand followed in 1960, marking its entry into sports footwear with injected soles. A major turning point came in 1967 with the launch of MARESCA a dynamic PVC line for work, leisure, fishing, and hunting.
In 1990, responding to market demand, the company introduced SANIFLEX focusing on sanitary slippers and house mules. More recently, production expanded to Romania, coinciding with the fourth Bellini generation taking leadership.
